The OCF is a charitable trust created by a passionate group dedicated to giving more children in New Zealand access to osteopathy. Cost is a major barrier, and OCF aims to overcome this.
Our Focus:- Provide free osteopathic services for children who cannot afford it and who really need it.
- Fund research, teaching, fellowship support, and other educational activities to promote and improve free osteopathic and complementary health services for children.
- Purchase equipment and other services or products for hospitals and healthcare organisations to deliver free osteopathic services for children.
Why We Do This:
Osteopathy helps children in a multitude of ways. Many conditions have a mechanical component contributing to physical and physiological problems.
Osteopathy identifies these factors and helps the body adjust. It complements mainstream healthcare, is effective, gentle, and safe.
We treat unwell and injured children whose families cannot afford private osteopathic treatment.
The clinic runs on the second Saturday of each month in Hamilton and the last Saturday of the month in Wellington.
If you are unable to see any availability on an upcoming date it is because the clinic is full. We do however run a cancellation list so please contact us and we'll do our best to find a space for your child.
